“I don’t want to hire single-platform journalists anymore,” said Paul Horrocks, editor of the Manchester Evening News, in a good report on the paper’s omnimedia conversation in the Editors’ Weblog.

It's not just the media that needs to think that way, though - if you work in Marcom, you need to start wearing multiple hats as well. The old days of "inside baseball" PR are over.
