Speaking of persistence for Seaside apps - GOODS came up earlier today at Randal's talk, and just now I spotted this from David Shaffer in the vwnc mailing list:

I was having too much fun working in VW again so I hacked out a WriteBarrier for the GOODS client using the excellent WriteBarriers package in the public repo. I also fixed a caching bug. Performance is much improved. I think this will be a very performant OODB client for VisualWorks. Give it a try!

So there you go - another good persistence option for your Seaside stuff
