Parallels Works Again

After I updated to the new version of Parallels, Windows stopped being able to see the network. I had no idea what was wrong, but I think I know now - the Parallels Tools installation didn't finish correctly, and that's what hosed things up. How did I address that?

  • Restored an old snapshot of the VM
  • Re-Ran the Tools install

Ultimately, it's like a Smalltalk image - it's a good idea to keep a "known good" one lying around :)
