Well, in just in case I start feeling too good about my Mac vs. PC predilections, I just had the strangest thing happen with my Mac - or at least with the Mac and VW. I was firing up my Seaside tutorial image to get the last piece of the tutorial recorded, and the server wouldn't start. I thought I had somehow corrupted the image, so I figured I'd build a new one - but no, same issue. Seems that VW was getting "mickey.home" as the hostname instead of "mickey.local". I have no idea what was going on, but in a very Windows-like solution, I rebooted and the problem cleared. Anyone ever seen anything like this? I'd be happy to know what was going on...
