Apple gets looked at from mor angles than just about any company that ever existed. Take this post from Gizmodo, which deconstructs the presentations yesterday to infer that Steve Jobs will be leaving Apple soon. Back in the 70s and 80s, I recall a similar field - Sovietology. Given the lack of real news out of the Kremlin, a whole field grew up to try and explain what was happening based on public cues (seating order at speeches, etc). As it happens, it wasn't terribly accurate - and I suspect that the Apple version will end up being the same thing :)
