Today's podcast was a lot of fun - Michael and I spoke to David Chisnall, Quentin Mathe, and Eric Wasylishen, who are part of the core Etoile team. It's a cool project - from their site:
Etoile intends to be an innovative GNUstep based user environment built from the ground up on highly modular and light components with project and document orientation in mind, in order to allow users to create their own workflow by reshaping or recombining provided Services (aka Applications), Components etc. Flexibility and modularity on both User Interface and code level should allow us to scale from PDA to computer environment.
We spoke about a lot of those things on the podcast - you can listen here.
If you have feedback, send it to smalltalkpodcasts@cincom.com - or visit us on Facebook or Ning - you can vote for the Podcast Alley, and subscribe on iTunes. If you enjoy the podcast, pass the word - we would love to have more people hear about Smalltalk!
