Sun lost another ton of cash last quarter, and - predictably - cast blame anywhere other than their ridiculous business plan:
Blaming the downturn in the financial sector, Sun Microsystems reported a US$1.68 billion loss for its most recent fiscal quarter on Thursday.
Maybe someone needs to ask Schwartz whether or not the company will continue to do things like spend $1B on MySQL, when there's no revenue plan in sight for the product. Or whether they'll continue their "we'll make it up in volume, just give it all away" theory of commerce.
Maybe their board of directors should be asking these sorts of questions of the management team on behalf of the shareholders...
