This week we talked to Janko Mivsek, the lead developer for Aida/Web - the web framework for Smalltalk you might not have heard of. It's actually the engine behind squeak.org though, and it's roots stretch back to 1996: it's a mature, capable web framework that's seen commercial grade deployment for a long time now.

It's also open source, under the MIT License, so usage is open. There's a thriving, growing community behind it as well - we learned a lot about the project on this podcast.

There was a talk about Aida and Scribo (a CMS system for Aida/Web) at Smalltalk Solutions, and I'll be posting Janko's talk at ESUG fairly soon. Download the podcast here.
