I see that Joe Wilcox is back to the dumb idea of MS buying Yahoo:

Behind the blip rise in share price, Yahoo acquisition makes even more sense today than it did on Oct. 10, when I reversed position on a Microsoft takeover. An acquisition would make even more sense if not for Jerry stepping down as CEO and subsequently driving up Yahoo's share price.

Umm, yeah Joe. It's all upside. Never mind the years of internecine warfare that will be fought out at the middle management layers between competing groups as MS tries to swallow the technologically incompatible Yahoo. If MS is dumb enough to do this deal, they'll not only end up smaller than they are today - they'll deserve to be smaller.
