Advertising can be lucrative for some entities - the Mozilla foundation brought in $75M in 2007, $66M of that as payments from Google based on the default search box in the browser. The good news is how much that funded for them; the bad news is, it has the IRS questioning their status as a non-profit (there are plenty of businesses out there that bring in a lot less revenue than that).

Here's my question: what did those numbers look like for 2008, especially starting from about July?
