PC World has a story about an issue between MS Office and Spaces (multiple desktops) in OS X. Apparently, the two don't work and play well together, and we have the all too common vendor finger pointing exercise:
Microsoft appears to place the blame on Apple, stating that the symptoms are "caused by the architectural implementation of Spaces in Mac OS X v10.5 (Leopard). Apple is aware of this issue."
I have a hard time buying that, seeing as the symptoms are:
Symptoms of this bug include: an inability to bring Word document windows to the foreground by clicking them, an inability to assign two Word documents to separate spaces, and plain old crashes of Office applications.
Now - VisualWorks is not the most Mac native thing in the world, and yet here I am, entering this post in the BottomFeeder posting tool, on my Mac, in a window I shoved into a separate space. Kinda makes me go hmmmmm
