So why is Facebook so bad? Glad you asked. This morning I was checking out my Facebook page and noticed Kim had "put an ornament on my tree." So I clicked the link only to be confronted a page reminiscent of a MySpace page. It was full of blinking buttons that looked horrible. Being the impatient person I am, I click the button that says "Continue" thinking it's what I should click. WRONGO! It took me to IQQuizapp.com, DO NOT VISIT that page. When you try to close the window you'll get a ton of message boxes saying things like "YOUR CRUSH MANTECA IS TRYING TO CONTACT YOU." You've got to be kidding?

To be fair, Facebook itself has been pretty useful to me - the apps, less so. I do like iRead, but I haven't seen much of use beyond that. The base system though? I post "Smalltalk Daily" there (and on my blog, and on Vimeo), and I get good feeback via the Facebook groups. It's been useful for me, anyway :)
