Looks like the season 4 conclusion of "Lost" reset the board in a lot of ways:

So there you have it. Grace, who made a splash as Liam Neeson's daughter in last year's Taken, played spoiled rich girl Shannon Rutherford, sister to the ill-fated and obsessed Boone Carlyle (Ian Somerhalder), in the show's first three seasons before she met her own untimely end on the mysterious island.
If Grace is returning, she's only the lastest of the original castaways reportedly coming back to the island for the final season. Emilie de Ravin (Claire), who was AWOL last season, will also reportedly return, and Dominic Monaghan (Charlie) is, as Kristin puts it, "in a promising state of limbo."

A few weeks ago, we were talking about the season ending episode at a restaurant, and the waiter got in on the conversation. There aren't many shows that get a truly national following anymore, but "Lost" comes pretty close.
