I've got my first Facebook application done - a plugin for BottomFeeder. What's it do?

  • Brings the news feed into BottomFeeder as a feed
  • Make it possible to post Facebook status updates from within BottomFeeder
  • Makes it possible to comment on Facebook news items from within BottomFeeder

The only thing I'm not entirely pleased with at this point is the authorization workflow; you have to summon a web page and then, once that's dealt with, come back and get a session instantiated. Anyway, here are some screenshots - on this screen, you login and get a session:

Here's the news stream in BottomFeeder, showing a comment sent from within BottomFeeder:

Finally, here's the UI for updating status. The same UI with different labels is used for commenting:
