I find this reporting curious:

Netbook owners are more likely to be disappointed with their machines than people who purchase larger and more expensive laptops, a retail research firm said today.

It goes on to contrast the 70% "I like it" number for notebooks with a 58% number for netbooks. Now, I don't own a Netbook, and my interaction with them has been completely anecdotal - but having said that, I've yet to meet anyone who had negative things to say about one. I'm sure they exist, but I run into Netbooks a lot at presentations (second only to Macs), and I usually ask about them. I also ask people I meet on planes about them, and the answers have been universally positive.

I'd love to know why I'm not running into any of the dissatisfaction that's supposed to be out there. It could just be that I'm only running into the crowd that bought a Netbook knowing that they are small, less powerful devices, and not running into anyone who was less well informed.
