A classic question about Smalltalk development has popped up on Stack Overflow - one we've discussed on the podcast:
Never having used Smallltalk myself (even it was very popular when I was at university) I wonder if the classic Smalltalk Browser which displays only one method is really an improvment over classical file editing or not.
The interesting part about this to me is that we are experimenting with a hybrid answer to that question with Web Velocity. We have the editing in the web browser, and you can display (and edit) multiple methods at a time. In the next release we'l be taking that further; it's one of the things Michael will be talking about at ESUG.
Anyway, Stack Overflow is a question and answer site; wander on over and let slip with the answers!
