We found a nice steak restaurant called La Boucherie here in Brest. We went there when we first arrived and the larger group decided to return there last night. Yann Monclaire was with us and we discovered to our amusement that no matter how good his french is (it's native), that did not mean he'd actually get any food.
The final insult to his dignity was when dessert was to be ordered - everybody at the table got a dessert menu except him. He really was invisible - including his order of dessert which never arrived, nor were we charged for it. Amazing.
