Thursday morning at ESUG 2009, and Arden Thomas (our Product Manager) is talking about possible approaches to multi-core support in Smalltalk. The high level view: we want this, but we also want it to be accessible by mere mortals. Heh - Arden is making fun of the name engineering gave to the research project: "Polycephaly" (many heads). I'm recording the session; the video will be out sometime in the next few weeks. Here are a few photos of Arden giving the talk:
