It's the last talk at ESUG, and Dirk is talking about ObjectStudio 8.2 (and ObjectStudio history). The major highlights:

  • On the VW VM since OS 8.0
  • Next release will be 8.2 this fall (8.1 is shipping now)
  • The 8.2 release will ship with the modeling tool (design, bi-directional) and the mapping tool (database mapping, based on GLORP).

Dirk is mostly highlighting the modeling and mapping tools (it's been his major focus, and they are newly supported in 8.2). Here he is showing off the cool stuff:
