The Macbook Pro is back, and the data from the dead HD has been recovered - I should be getting that back in hand tomorrow or Monday. So after a couple of annoying hardware issues, things are back to normal.

I should point out that a bunch of people at Cincom - Mike Wehry in IT, and Bonnie Browning in particular were extremely helpful throughout this process. A big shout out goes out to them, and of course to my manager Suzanne, and the people she had to justify the expense to.
