There are a couple of houses in my neighborhood that have been "for sale" for months now; things used to move quite quickly here. That's one thing; just now, a rude reminder that things have changed rolled by:

The truck's passenger is knocking on doors, and announcing that a local furniture store couldn't pay for delivery - so they are rolling down the local byways seeing if anyone is interested in what they have on hand. I've never seen anything like that here...
