There are two forces that are apparently shaping the software development industry: a tendency towards hiring a mass of cheap and sloppy programmers on one side and sloppy programmers who don't want to study on the other. Are these phenomenons correlated? How? Is it true and a good phenomenon that the entry level to software development as a profession has been lowered?
