Recently I was asked to make a demo application that makes a standard WebVelocity application using scaffolding with active record look and work on the iPhone. There are three tricks to making a web page look like a native iPhone app: 1) colours, 2) orientation detection, 3) animations. In this demo I show off #1 and #2 and leave #3 for any adventurous jQuery users out there. The demo is in the Examples repository of WebVelocity under the name 'IPhone' and here is a video of it in action:
