I happened to look at some notes yesterday and saw, rather ruefully, that it was in fall of 2006 that I decided to launch the full effort to write a book on Domain Specific Languages. Even by my standards this has been a long process. I’m not entirely sure why it’s taken so long: there was a lot of material to look into, much thinking and writing about organizing it and much travel and speaking to keep me away from it. It may also be that as I age I don’t have the energy I used to.

But the book is now finally in my house. :-)
