Since the DSL book came out, one of my top priorities has been to rehab my website. I’ve finished the first iteration of this, with the result that if you are reading this on my home page you’ll see it has a very different graphic design from last week.

More importantly than the new graphic design is the new “guide pages” that I’ve written to summarize my writing on various topics. A good example of these is the new introduction page I’ve written to help you find your way around the site.

This is just the first stage of the rehab. In particular the bliki has only had a superficial work over. I have plans to improve the bliki, but first I need to do some serious refactoring of the code that drives the website.

Do email me with your thoughts about the new look and features. I’ve tested the site with the browsers I have available, but there could well be things I’ve missed since my QA department (me) is rather careless. If you use IE6, you’ll find the site distinctly subpar, but hopefully still usable. My thanks to my colleague Ryan Buterbaugh to helping me sort through one fix I really had to make for IE6.
