I don't know of this problem has previously been brought up but can anyone help me please?
I tried running the jini examples I got from the Core Jini book (1st ed). All my files compiled, the HTTP server provided is up and running and so is the rmid daemon. But when I actually try to run the service so it discovers my running lookup, it tries to open an application instead of displaying a message saying that it has discovered a LUS.
I'd be really glad if someone could help as I need it for my project in uni.
