I have a situation where Jini is binding to all network interface and announce/mcast out each one.

I have tried to modfy the reggie.conf file and also the setenv script to use only 1 interface for jini mcast but this does not seem to stop the multicast on the other interfaces.

I used the Nic_addr setting in the setenv script to no avail.
I used the multicastinterface= setting in the reggie.conf file and restarted the application.

packet captures still show udp 4160 out on all interfaces.

what am I doing wrong ?
