I all of a sudden started getting this error when trying to run my application on my local server. I searched the net for this but can't find anything and no one knows how to fix this. It won't connect to my db2 database. I've uninstalled and re-installed wsad 5.1, I've created a new workspace and tried it again. Even my other projects get this error now when trying to login and connect to the database. Anyone have any ideas on what this is??

Error 500: Connection Pooling Exception: Error connecting to datasource: Error looking up datasource: Exception occurred while the JNDI NamingManager was processing a javax.naming.Reference object.

Hi,

possible solutuion may be.
1. Use driver manager instead of datasource and try.

2. if you working in same container, you don't need any properties for Initial context.

give as bellow.

javax.naming.Context ctx = new InitialContext();
DataSource ds = (DataSource) ctx.lookup("jdbc/Connection");

3. else some problem in data source , need to look in to the server log.
