Specs and More Specs - The inclusion of a couple of new specs would be nice; WS-ReliableMessaging and WS-MetadataExchange would be the most useful and interesting additions. Also, a simple reliable persistance store along with the WS-ReliableMessaging implementation would be helpful.
Dynamic Policies - A full blown implementation of WS-policy and the ability to leverage dynamic policies. I am still trying to figure out the goodness of WS-Policy, if the policy cannot be altered at runtime. Perhaps code-generation... I am not sure.
WS-I Security Profile Support - We need more WS-I love. I would imagine by the time WSE 3.0 is released this profile will be finalized.
Indigo Transitional Programming Model - I would like to see the WSE 3.0 programming model start offering the simplification and usability of what Indigo's model promises. (i.e, Attribute based programming, better abstractions). Therefore leading us into Indigo temptation.
