I'm not reading any more political blogs. I you have one, and are wondering why your link disappeared, that's why. I just don't need the stress, and I really don't enjoy thinking, writing and talking about politics like I used to.

The last ones I was keeping up on were pretty good — my friend Karol's Alarming News and Diary of an Anti-Chomskyite, by some Zionist I've never met.

I also don't enjoy basketball and hip-hop nearly as much as I used to, and I dropped all those blogs too.

The parallel hadn't occurred to me until I was writing this. Oddly enough, if you'd have asked me my top three (chaste) interests a decade ago, I would have named that trio. For what it's worth, my Freshman Facebook profile at college listed "Rap, basketball, people."
