I often feel that the best way to deal with people who don't even deserve debate, yet can't be ignored entirely, is by ridiculing them mercilessly. And this wise-ass, Maddox, does a stupendous job of that.
Now, I'm not saying that skeptical inquiry is not valid, nor that we should trust the government. From the Tuskegee Experiment (where the government left syphilis untreated in black citizens 25 years after penicillin was proven to be an effective treatment) to Christine Todd Whitman lying to the heroes of 9/11 (where Bush's EPA head knowingly exposed emergency workers to toxic levels of mercury, lead, asbestos and the like), there are numerous examples to the contrary.
But claims that a plane didn't hit the Pentagon or that Osama bin Laden is just a scapegoat — that shit is laughable.
