The freetag plugin for serendipity is an internal tagging system. This is not how I want to use tags. Since all content on jaxn.org is written my me grouping posts into categories is not that difficult. I want to use tags in a way that will allow me to interact with "blogosphere". In order to do what I wanted to do I have modified the freetag plugin on my server to point the tag links to technorati. To me this is much cooler.
