How do I know when a new version of the PDF is available?

It would be nice if the download page had a "last updated on" notification so I can know whether I need to download a new version of the pdf file or not.

It shouldn't be too hard to get this date from the version control system.

Hi Ravi,

Good question. There's a Version number on the forsale page:

http://www.artima.com/shop/forsale

Currently it's still at Version 1.

We'll also send an email when the new version comes out. People can opt out, but initially everyone will get an email.
