Bill, I just wonder: how many people already bought a book (approximately)? Through Manning? Through Amazon (why isn't it offered directly from Amazon)?
Both Scala language and book are great, I'll be happy if this book will bust interest in Scala.
Amazon already offers another book - [url=http://www.amazon.com/Programming-Scala-Multi-Core-Complexity-Virtual/dp/1 93435631X/[/url] by Pragmatic and one more book will be printed by O'Reilly with a free PDF. Alex Payne is just 25! I envy those young and fast-to-learn guys...
