Hello,

I'm using scalatest with eclipse and getting weird characters in my stdout output like this:

[scalatest] Run starting. Expected test count is: 2

Any idea what these are and how to get rid of them?
Thanks!

Yes, those are ANSI characters for enabling color output. You can disable them by putting a W on the reporter configuration. If it is the standard output reporter, for example, instead of saying -o, you say -oW. (W means "Without color").

Details are in the Configuring reporters section of the Runner ScalaDoc:

http://www.scalatest.org/scaladoc/doc-1.1/org/scalatest/tools/Runner$object.html
