I'd like to contribute an Ant task to the SuiteRunner code base. I approached the guys at the Ant project with the code and Erik Hatcher (Ant Project Management Committee) had this to say
what the Ant developers typically try to do these days is push back on 3rd party integration built into Ant and let these custom tasks live with the project they support.
I believe that the code I developed would make life easier for users of SuiteRunner. Let me know what you think!
As an aside, the code is interesting in its own right since it uses the developed Ant task to run test suites to test itself. Weird, eh?!
An ant task for SuiteRunner would be great. Frank has been talking about building an ant task for a long time. I wanted to beat him to it. But both of us have been too busy to get around to it. If you have done some ant integration work that you'd like to contribute, please send it our way. I guess the best way to do that for now is to email a zip file to me: bv@artima.com.
Tell us more about the SuiteRunner so that we can run our new blog in the best way. Keep up the nice work and share the stuff with others or guide others through smartconnection.net so that we can make the best deal over here. I would love to write and share the quality articles if you need my support and love.
