I've posted about the experience of the "Programming the New Web" conference here, to give you an idea of the energy that came out of the conference.

If there's interest, I'd like to schedule a Python OpenSpace conference for early Fall (roughly opposite in the year from PyCon). And skiing seemed to work out very well for everyone so I want to do more conferences in the Winter.
