This topic has been beaten to death. If you Google your error, you will find a lot
of explanations of the causes for one: if you are trying to perform any write or
read functions to or from the local file system e.g. using printStream (to a File),
or FileReader (from a Local File), or Database Operations (from Local Database),
you will see this type of error. As suggested on the thousands of Google results
that you would surely encounter if you took the trouble, this can either be
solved by setting your Java Security policies (another Google common), or letting
you Applet Interact with a Servlet before it interacts with your JSP.

We would be of more help to you if you would explain what it is that your Applet
does. Simply stating your Applet is interacting with JSPs and crashing due to
a security policy doesn't give us much info. to go by in order to help you.
