Y in the hell does Eclipse not import new

As an IDE its beginning to be frustrating as hell!!

I'm assuming the CVS Client for Eclipse comes as
a Plugin. What in the world is wrong with people
these days? Anyways, I guess problem of having
a team of developers work on a project (must be
pretty tough to incorporate the various modules).

Anyways, for the 1 billionth time, I have to
start from scratch, now I got x-thousand lines
of broken code :o(

Thanks IBM!!

Hey hey ...
Stay quiet and polite when refereing to my prefered IDE...
I am not sure I understood well what you mean ... but since Eclipse 3.0, (almost) all the refresh are done correctly. In earlier versions you were better to regularly do a "Refresh" of the FileSystem to actually see the files

So can you explain with a simplified testcase what you cannot do ... ? In most case it is the people who are doing the things wrong instead of Eclipse, but it is sometimes hard when Switching IDE to realise that this should be done insome other way on Eclipse...

\T,

p.s. : Incidently my favorite IDE has some libraries incompatibilities with my favorite OS (Mandriva 10.1) :(

I guess its a matter of preferrence. Eclipse is great but
it gets frusttrating when you have to start from scratch
because of the fact that it seems so fussy about its
workspace. I'm using 3.1.0 on a Mandrake machine, I've
had to check out new source code twice after having being
coding the whole day. Anyways, I'm new to eclipse and
hopefully will find ways around its glitches - I previously
and still do a lot of coding via VI - and paste it after
I have gotten the appropriate Swing Look or functionality
in check (I only use Eclipse to manage my code).
