The title of the talk is: Cat, an Optimization Framework for the MSIL. The focus of the presentation is on using Cat as an intermediate language for performing functional optimizations on imperative languages.

The slides describe the most recent version of the Cat language and are online at http://www.cdiggins.com/cat/cat_lang_net.ppt in powerpoint format and http://www.cdiggins.com/cat/cat.pdf in PDF format.

Chris, given that MS are allegedly pretty laid-back about the tools their people use, have you considered something like S5 (http://meyerweb.com/eric/tools/s5/) for presentations? That way you'd also have nice clean HTML version that people could read online.

Regardless of whether or not you share the common view that PPT is evil (http://www.wired.com/wired/archive/11.09/ppt2_pr.html), it's certainly one of the least useful formats imaginable for posting on the Web.

cheers
Mike
