HAVi.org has announced a new FileManager spec working group to add private file content to HAVi enabled devices according to this BusinessWire brief. The formats that will be supported in this end of year Sepc release are text, photos, audio, mult-media, and etc. This puts the new sdks and simulators supporting it possibly spring of 2004 with set boxes supporting it in 2004.
