Many not os successful microlobgging entities are attempting to cash in on Android by coming up with these oh we can do the successful microblogging feature in our client too type Android Applications. For example I know an entity that is attempting to hire a developer to do FriendFeed features bolted on to their Android Client. That problem that this not-so-successful microblogging entity does not understand is that to become successful their entity must latch on to those activities that are popular that happen to match their app features.

Geotagging and location by themselves are not popular enough. Now something like Loopt is somewhat a popular set of activities, so popular that VCs are willing to invest in Loopt clones that disrupt Loopt due to the low costs of developing a clone using the Android Platform. So is geotagging pictures and video. Adding FriendFeed with no LBS tie-in or integration with GPS as a feature is somewhat idiotic.
