I'm pleased to announce that Pebble 1.7 is available for download here. The changelog details all of the changes, but the major items are as follows.

• Blog entry listeners let you write Java code that's called when blog entries are added/removed.
• Comment listeners let you write Java code that's called when comments are added/removed/approved/rejected.
• TrackBack listeners let you write Java code that's called when TrackBacks are added/removed/approved/rejected.
• Blog listeners let you write Java code that's called when your blog is started/stopped.
• Plugins and their configuration can be managed from your web browser.

• Extensible comment and TrackBack spam listeners help you fight spam on your blog. These include the LinkSpamListener, ContentSpamListener, SpamScoreListener and DeleteRejectedListener.
• Manually moderate all comments and TrackBacks with the new MarkPendingListener.
• Manage your comments and TrackBacks in bulk from your web browser using the new bulk management page.
• The nofollow decorator is included as standard.

Upgrade notes are available and include information about some of the new plugins. The included themes have been ported to use CSS positioning rather than nested tables and some tips for upgrading your theme will follow shortly.
