While Amethyst itself is simple to install, you may need some 'prerequisites' to support Flash or Flex development. We have just added a new Installation Guide to guide you through the process of installing everything from a free edition of Visual Studio (if you need one) to the Java runtime and Flash Debug Player necessary to support Flex or Flash development.
