To all you shockwave developers: quit writing banner ads!!!! You’re killing my ability to block them!
Of course, that’s the point of it all, isn’t it? Firefox has this wonderful little “block images from this site” feature, and it was really great for awhile. Now, almost all ads, banners, even those without any movement that just look like gifs, they’re all in shockwave!
Now I don’t want to disable shockwave. Its a pretty cool plug-in, allowing me to see all kinds of cool stuff. But ads are not cool stuff.
