I wrote about Scott’s new list for new/re pave machine essentials yesterday. It so happens I got my 3rd work machine yesterday, a-IBM Think-Pad T42 and I applied his list to get the machine up and running with the essentials. He really nailed it. It’s a perfect set. I’d love if we could get this burned onto an image somehow (the non-Microsoft stuff). Onto the tools!
