It's unlucky to walk under a ladder. What happens if one falls off a car nearby?

While driving to work this morning, in thick traffic, a car went around the corner and its ladder ripped from the back and hit another car. Both cars drove off as if nothing happened. I put on the emergency lights, got out of my car and moved the ladder to the side of the road.

Now that I've written this down, I don't know why I thought it was blog worthy.. but there you go.
