Recently, the discussion on what features should be in/out of the Refactoring Browser was raised by Travis on the VisualWorks NC mailing list. It was an interesting conversation, but inevitably someone suggested that the RB should have uber configurability.

Thanks to Runar for reposting his thoughts from 2006 about this subject. Take a look and a read at what Microsoft's usability labs fed in to Office 2007. It's not just the ribbons - but the tool tips, large spaced menus and tool areas and mini-popup tools etc that you should look at.
