Based on this story from ComputerWorld, I think the smart move is to pass on the MacBook Air, and wait for the second and third generation devices. The current Air has a 64 GB flash drive; here's what's coming:
Intel Corp. today confirmed that it is close to unveiling a new line of solid-state drives for laptop and notebook PCs that will feature a storage capacity up to 160GB.
That's still less storage than I'd like (my MacBook Pro sports a 250 gb drive) - but it's pretty big. And consider the battery life: a lot of the energy goes to spin those platters. No platters should mean a lot more uptime between charges...
