I've started noticing just how widely used SQLite is (listen to this FLOSS Weekly podcast to hear more about it). I knew it was behind Mac Mail - and I know that our developers like it well enough that they've plugged it into the default Store db in Web Velocity. Last night, I was installing Rosetta Stone on one of the Macs, and as the installer did it's thing, I saw a SQLite mention - apparently, it's used by that app for local storage as well.
